Nether VVinchendon House, near Aylesbury, which dates from the middle of the 12th century and is mentioned in the Doomsday Book, is a magnificent Gothick Grade 1 listed Manor House. Its grounds comprise about seven acres of garden with fine and rare trees and shrubs. The house is lived in by the present owner Robert Spencer Bernard and his wife Georgianna and their family.

The impressive and historic barn is a wonderful venue at any time of the year for weddings. It comprises a magnificent beamed and high vaulted barn most often used for dining and entertaining. Leading off from this is an intimate paneled dance room where a number of individually exposed wall timbers allow guests to retain their connection with the main barn area. The bar and ceremony room are connected to the main barn by an old-fashioned style wooden staircase.
